Cooley advised Vance Street Capital, a Los Angeles-based middle-market private equity firm that invests in highly engineered solutions businesses across the industrial technology, medical, life sciences, aerospace and defense sectors, on its acquisition of System Seals, a designer and manufacturer of custom fluid seals for various industrial applications.

Cooley advised Kpler, a fast-growing data and analytics firm on a mission to build one platform for global trade intelligence, on its acquisition of Spire Global’s maritime business for approximately $241 million.

Cooley advised Tipico Group, a top global sports betting company offering cutting-edge digital and mobile betting entertainment, on the UK aspects of its agreement with LeoVegas Group, a subsidiary of MGM Resorts International, in which LeoVegas will acquire the product and technology platform of Tipico’s US sportsbook and online casino.

Cooley advised Dimension as lead investor in Automata’s 33.1-million-pound Series C financing. Automata, an automation company helping life sciences rapidly innovate, diagnose and discover at scale, will use the funds to accelerate its rapid growth and industry presence across the US, UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
