Outsourcing

Provide unique approaches to help our clients formulate their outsourcing strategies

Why Cooley

Focused on understanding and meeting our client's specific business objectives and structuring deals to be successful over the long term

Experienced with the various service delivery models and know many outsourcing service providers, including their typical negotiation styles and positions

Active in shaping and adapting to the ever-changing industry landscape, such as the integration between multisourced environments, geographical optimization (including both onshoring and offshoring), cloud computing, SaaS integration, turn-key BPO solutions and "second generation" outsourcing

Represent clients involved in more complex relationships (e.g., where the outsourcing service provider also sells its client's services and products to third parties) and/or when the outsourcing deal relates to broader M&A, divesture and/or other corporate initiatives

Our outsourcing practice group includes a cross-disciplinary team of experienced and internationally recognized (e.g., by Chambers and Partners) outsourcing lawyers who can assist in assessing benefits and risks, soliciting and evaluating service provider proposals, structuring and negotiating the deal, and managing the transaction and relationship throughout its life cycle

Our lawyers in our specialized practice groups assist with domestic and international employment, tax, data security, privacy, real estate, securities and compliance issues
