Cooley advised Acumen Pharmaceuticals on its $160 million initial public offering of 9,999,999 shares of common stock. Acumen Pharmaceuticals, whose securities now trade on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol ABOS, is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing a novel disease-modifying approach to target a key underlying cause of Alzheimer’s disease. Cooley advised SimilarWeb on its $176 million initial public offering of 8,000,000 ordinary shares. SimilarWeb, whose securities now trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol SMWB, is a developer of a digital market intelligence platform. Cooley advised BowX Acquisition Corp., a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company or SPAC, on its agreement to merge with WeWork for $9 billion – a combination that will result in WeWork becoming a publicly listed company.
