About Eric

Eric has practiced in Silicon Valley for more than 35 years as a corporate securities lawyer. He focuses on representing high-growth emerging and public technology, consumer, and life sciences companies in financings, capital markets, and other corporate transactions. He also has extensive experience representing underwriters, such as Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley, as well as a number of leading venture funds. Eric previously served as the vice chair of Cooley. Additionally, he was a member of the firm’s management committee from 2000 to 2018 and the firm’s strategy committee from 2019 to 2021, and he chaired the firmwide business department from 2008 to 2012.
