Cooley represented TeRAM in connection with its $37 million financing. TeRAM emerged from stealth to develop custom 3D SRAM technology designed to address the memory bottlenecks facing next-generation AI deployments. The financing was co-led by Primary Venture Partners, B Capital, Hyperion and SemiAnalysis Capital, with participation from Alumni Ventures and Lightscape Partners. The proceeds will support technology validation and team growth as TeRAM advances customized 3D SRAM solutions for AI applications.

Cooley represented Naver Ventures, the venture arm of Naver Corporation, in its strategic investment in Baobab Studios, the 10-time Emmy-winning transmedia animation studio. The investment supports Baobab’s expansion of cross-platform intellectual property development spanning animation, publishing, gaming, television and streaming. The investment was a seven-figure transaction that valued Baobab above its previous financing round. Naver Corporation is one of South Korea’s largest internet companies and the parent of Webtoon Entertainment Inc.

Cooley represented Naver Ventures in co-leading TwelveLabs’ $100 million Series B financing round alongside NEA, with participation from Amazon, Radical Ventures, Korea Investment Partners, Index Ventures, Quadrille Capital and Red Bull Ventures. Partner Sale Kwon led the Cooley team advising Naver Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Naver Corporation which backs the founders building AI, robotics and fintech into the infrastructure of what comes next. TwelveLabs is a leading video intelligence company developing multimodal AI systems that enable machines to perceive, understand and reason about video content.

Cooley advised Socket, a cybersecurity platform that protects companies from software supply chain attacks, on its $60 million Series C at a $1 billion valuation, bringing its total funding to $125 million.

Cooley advised Science Corporation, the pioneering full-stack neural engineering company focused on restoring and extending life, on the close of an oversubscribed $230 million Series C financing round, bringing the company’s total capital raised to approximately $490 million since its founding in 2021.
