Palo Alto – May 13, 2024 – Cooley advised the underwriters of Silvaco, a leading provider of technology computer-aided design (TCAD), electronic design animation (EDA) software, and session initiation protocol (SIP) solutions that enable semiconductor design and artificial intelligence through software and innovation, on its $114 million initial public offering. Silvaco issued and sold 6,000,000 shares priced at $19 per share, with a 30-day option for the underwriters to purchase up to 900,000 additional shares. Silvaco’s common stock began trading on the Nasdaq Global Market on May 9, 2024, under the ticker symbol SVCO. Jefferies and TD Cowen acted as joint book-running managers for the offering. Needham & Company acted as lead manager, and Craig-Hallum Capital Group and Rosenblatt acted as co-managers for the offering.
