Cooley advised Delphix, a vendor of test data management software, on its acquisition by Perforce, a provider of solutions to enterprise teams requiring productivity, visibility and scale along the development life cycle.

Cooley advised COUR Pharmaceuticals, a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on the development of first-in-class disease-modifying therapies designed to induce antigen-specific tolerance for immune-mediated diseases, on the close of its $105 million Series A financing.

Cooley advised Inscripta, a global leader in genome engineering technology, on its acquisition of Infinome Biosciences and Sestina Bio. These acquisitions advance Inscripta’s strategy to develop and commercialize biomanufactured products for a broad spectrum of industrial and consumer markets. They also demonstrate Inscripta’s confidence in the commercial potential of the bioeconomy and the power of genome engineering to accelerate biomanufacturing innovation. Cooley advised ViaCyte, a biotechnology company focused on delivering novel stem cell-derived cell replacement therapies as a functional cure for Type 1 diabetes (T1D), on its definitive agreement to be acquired by global biotechnology company Vertex Pharmaceuticals for $320 million in cash. Partners Rowook Park and Carlos Ramirez, along with associate Lindsey O’Crump, led the Cooley team advising ViaCyte.

Cooley advised Abnormal Security, a leading artificial intelligence-based cloud-native email security platform, on its $210 million Series C financing round, which brings the company’s valuation to $4 billion.
