Palo Alto – January 30, 2026 – Cooley advised Ethos Technologies, a top life insurance technology company on a mission to democratize access to life insurance, on its $200 million initial public offering (IPO). Ethos offered 5,127,696 shares of Class A common stock, and selling stockholders offered an additional 5,398,619 shares of Class A common stock, at a price of $19 per share. Ethos began trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on January 29, 2026, under the ticker symbol LIFE.

Partner Matthew Bartus led the Cooley team advising Ethos since its formation in 2016, including on its $100 million Series D-1  in July 2021 and $200 million Series D in May 2021.
