Cooley advised Walnut on its $110 million Series A financing round. Partner Stephane Levy led the Cooley team advising Walnut, which is a provider of financial services intended to assist people in healthcare financing.

Cooley advised PatientPop, a medical practice growth technology platform, on its agreement to merge with cloud-based clinical and financial software company Kareo to form Tebra. Lawyers Nick Hobson, David Silverman, Steven Dunst and Izzy Lubarsky led the Cooley team advising PatientPop.

Cooley advised DailyPay, an on-demand pay solution for enterprises, on its $175 million Series D financing round, as well as its $325 million of credit capital from various sources. Sacha Ross and Ariel Rom led the Cooley team advising DailyPay on the investments, which propelled the fintech company to unicorn status.

San Francisco – Cooley represented Brocade Communications Systems in its offering of $300 million aggregate principal amount of 4.625 percent Senior Notes due 2023. The notes are Brocade's senior, unsecured obligations, and interest on the notes is payable semi-annually in cash at a rate of 4.625 percent per annum beginning July 15, 2013. The company will use the proceeds of the financing, together with cash on hand, to redeem all of its outstanding 6.625 percent senior secured notes due 2018.
