Cooley represented Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm that backs bold entrepreneurs building the future through technology, on the closing of $7.2 billion for the following new funds: American Dynamism ($600 million), Applications ($1 billion), Games ($600 million), Infrastructure ($1.25 billion) and Growth ($3.75 billion).

Cooley advised Inspired Capital, a venture capital firm that backs early-stage founders with transformative ideas, brilliant teams and relentless determination, on the closing of its Inspired Capital Fund III, with $330 million in total capital commitments.

Cooley advised Venrock on the close of its 10th fund at $650 million. After raising approximately $450 million every three years throughout the past decade’s bull market, Venrock raised the $650 million for Venrock 10 to generate greater follow-on reserves in the current market environment.

Cooley advised Arboretum Ventures, a healthcare venture capital firm, on the closing of its $268 million sixth fund.

Cooley advised venture capital firm Upfront Ventures on its fundraise of more than $650 million to be deployed across three unique funds focused on various stages of the startup life cycle – the firm’s seventh early-stage fund, Upfront VII, which closed with $280 million in capital commitments; its third growth-stage fund, Upfront Growth III, with $200 million; and its Continuation Fund, with more than $175 million. Lawyers John Dado and Will Newsom led the Cooley team advising Upfront Ventures.
