She focuses particularly on fund formation, advising clients on structuring and forming venture capital funds, funds of funds and private equity funds. Before joining Cooley, Kelly represented sovereign wealth funds and family offices in the US federal income tax aspects of a variety of investments, including investments into debt funds, real estate funds and private equity funds.
