About Melody

Melody focuses on working with emerging growth companies in corporate and securities matters, including venture capital financings, public offerings and ongoing corporate maintenance. Her client industries include artificial intelligence, life sciences and retail. Before joining Cooley, Melody gained paralegal experience at two US-based multinational law firms.

Melody earned her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law. She also completed her undergraduate studies and earned her bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis in writing from Santa Clara University, where she was active in the Santa Clara chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, International English Honor Society.
