Cooley advised Michael Lahyani, the founder and CEO of Property Finder, in connection with Property Finder’s combined investment of $525 million, led by funds managed by Permira and Blackstone. As part of the transaction, General Atlantic, which had been a cornerstone investor of Property Finder, undertook a secondary sale of part of its stake.

Cooley advised TBO, a leading global travel distribution platform, on its agreement to acquire Classic Vacations from Arizona-based investment firm, the Najafi Companies.

Cooley advised Autolus – a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing next-generation programmed T-cell therapies – on its strategic collaboration with BioNTech, an immunotherapy company pioneering novel therapies for cancer and other serious diseases, to advance both companies’ autologous CAR-T programs toward commercialization, as well as a $350 million underwritten offering.

Cooley is advising Grindr, the #1 social network for the LGBTQ+ community, on its definitive agreement to merge with special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) Tiga Acquisition Corp. – a combination that will result in Grindr becoming a publicly listed company. Partners Dave Peinsipp, Jamie Leigh, Kristin VanderPas, Garth Osterman, Will Cai, Jeffrey Tolin and Aaron Pomeroy, as well as associates Sangitha Palaniappa, Kyle Huh, JJ Meng, Dannielle Antone, Mike Lam and Meera Patel, led the Cooley team advising Grindr.

Cooley advised the shareholders of ICS Learn, an online professional education platform owned by private equity firm Primary Capital Partners, on the platform’s sale to vocational e-learning provider Skill & You, a portfolio company of private equity firm IK Partners.
