Andreessen Horowitz Closes $7.2 Billion in New Funds

Cooley represented Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm that backs bold entrepreneurs building the future through technology, on the closing of $7.2 billion for the following new funds: American Dynamism ($600 million), Applications ($1 billion), Games ($600 million), Infrastructure ($1.25 billion) and Growth ($3.75 billion).
Cooley advised Venrock on the close of its 10th fund at $650 million. After raising approximately $450 million every three years throughout the past decade’s bull market, Venrock raised the $650 million for Venrock 10 to generate greater follow-on reserves in the current market environment.
Cooley advised Tola Capital, a Seattle-based venture capital firm investing in the next generation of enterprise software enabled by artificial intelligence, on the close of Tola Capital III at $230 million.
