Cooley Advises Professional Fighters League on Merger With Most Valuable Promotions
Reston – July 30, 2026 – Cooley advised the Professional Fighters League (PFL), a global mixed martial arts organization and one of the world’s leading combat sports properties, on a landmark merger with Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), a combat sports company co-founded by Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian. The combined company, which will operate under the MVP banner, will be led by co-founders and board members Paul and Bidarian, with John Martin serving as CEO and board member.
Lawyers Mike Lincoln, Adam Longenbach, Eileen Marshall, Edward Sniezek, Gaël Hagan and Adam Chase led the Cooley team advising PFL.
Cooley previously advised PFL on the completion of a successful strategic capital raise in January 2026.
