Cooley advised Openprise on its $25 million Series B financing led by investment funds managed by Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital. Partner Mark Medearis led the Cooley team advising Openprise, a top revenue operations (RevOps) data automation company using artificial intelligence to help RevOps teams transform their data into action, achieve operational agility at scale and simplify technology to drive efficient growth.

Cooley advised Celona on its oversubscribed $60 million Series C funding round. The financing round was led by DigitalBridge Ventures, and included participation from all of Celona’s existing investors: Lightspeed Venture Partners, Norwest Venture Partners, NTTVC, Qualcomm Ventures and Cervin Ventures. Partner Mark Medearis led the Cooley team advising Celona, a developer of AI-powered business-critical solutions designed to meet the connectivity needs of AI and edge-compute powered apps in the enterprise.

Cooley advised Sense on its $50 million Series D funding round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2. Mark Medearis led the Cooley team advising Sense, a developer of an AI-powered talent engagement platform.

Cooley advised BrightFarms on its $100 million Series E financing. Partner Mark Medearis led the Cooley team advising BrightFarms, which is a leading next-generation indoor farming company supplying U.S. grocery retailers with packaged salad greens.

Cooley advised underwriters on AssetMark’s $316.3 million initial public offering of 14,375,000 shares of common stock, including full exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase additional shares. J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs acted as joint lead book-running managers for the offering. Credit Suisse and Huatai Securities also acted as joint book-running managers and BMO Capital Markets, Raymond James & Associates and William Blair & Company acted as co-managers. Assetmark’s securities now trade on the NYSE under the symbol “AMK.” Partners Eric Jensen, John McKenna, Mark Medearis and Josh Seidenfeld led the Cooley team.
