Cooley advised the underwriters on Smart Share Global’s $150 million initial public offering of 17,650,000 American Depositary Shares. Goldman Sachs, Citigroup Global Markets  and China Renaissance Securities (Hong Kong) Limited acted as joint bookrunners and for the offering. Smart Share Global, whose securities now trade on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol EM, is a consumer tech company providing mobile device charging service. Partners Will Cai, Michael Yu and David Peinsipp led the Cooley team.

Cooley advised the sponsors and underwriters of Jiangsu Zenergy Battery Technologies Group (Zenergy) – a lithium-ion battery manufacturer focusing on the research and development, production and sales of electric vehicle battery products, electrochemical energy storage battery products and aviation battery products – in connection with Zenergy’s HK$1 billion global initial public offering.
