Cooley advised GGV Capital (GGV) on the closing of its new funds totaling $1.88 billion. The new funds include GGV Capital VII and VII Plus, GGV Discovery II and GGV Capital VII Entrepreneurs Fund.

Cooley advised Qiming Venture Partners on the closing of its sixth family of venture capital funds, Qiming Venture Partners VI, with total commitments of $935 million.

Cooley advised Chengwei Capital on the closing of a $1 billion tranche of newly available capital in its longstanding "evergreen" style fund, now entering its 12th year of operations. Chengwei is a leading Chinese venture capital firm that invests in early stage technology companies and holds investments for often lengthy periods over its 28-year lifecycle. Chengwei was an early investor in Youku, the "Youtube of China" and other prominent technology companies.

Cooley advised GGV Capital on the closing of its sixth fund, GGV Capital VI, L.P. and GGV Discovery I, L.P. at a combined $1.4 billion. Established in 2000, GGV Capital is a cross-border venture capital firm that focuses on multistage investments in the US and China. The firm invests in a range of technology sectors and its portfolio includes Cooley clients Houzz, Pandora and Airbnb.

Cooley advised Qiming Venture Partners on the closing of a $620 million venture capital fund, Qiming Venture Partners V, L.P., Qiming's fifth US dollar-denominated fund.
