Like Cooley, my counsel on private investment fund formation has become increasingly global in nature.

About Jordan

Jordan’s practice is concentrated on the formation and representation of private investment funds – primarily venture capital and growth equity funds – in the US, Greater Asia and Middle East/North Africa regions. Over the last 20 years, he has acted in a leading legal capacity in the raising of more than $100 billion in private fund interests across a multitude of investment areas, primarily focusing on technology, healthcare and life sciences.

Jordan also advises certain multinational enterprises, including Fortune 500 corporations, in their corporate venture capital funds, as well as institutions and family offices in their investment activities in venture capital funds.

Jordan is the creator and founder of Vanilla by Cooley, a proprietary cloud-based subscription service for raising venture capital funds that has transacted more than $30 billion in closings for 400+ funds and 15,000+ registered investors since its launch in 2019.

Jordan also is a founder, curator and key contributor to TheFundLawyer blog, a resource for legal and tax news for venture capital fund managers managed by the Cooley fund formation team. He serves as a managing member and investment committee member of GC&H Investments, Cooley’s in-house investment fund.

Jordan is a regular panelist and participant at US, Caribbean and Asian industry seminars and events, speaking on a broad range of legal topics related to venture capital fund formation and investing.
