    Cooley secured a summary judgment for its client Google in a long-running class action in the US District Court for the Northern District of California on August 17, 2026. Judge P. Casey Pitts granted Google’s motion for summary judgment on all claims and entered judgment for Google on a classwide basis, concluding that Google’s contracts expressly authorized the conduct challenged by the plaintiff.
