SilverRail Sells to Expedia
Boston – July 12, 2017 – A Cooley cross-office team based in Boston, Washington, DC, and London advised SilverRail on its sale to Expedia for an undisclosed amount.
SilverRail, based in London and Boston, powers global rail travel with its next generation retailing and distribution platform. As the world's first unified platform for global rail distribution, SilverRail connects carriers and suppliers to both online and offline travel distributors. Expedia, which trades on The NASDAQ Global Select Market as “EXPE,” is the world's largest online travel company, with an extensive brand portfolio that includes leading online travel brands.
Cooley has advised SilverRail since its Series B financing in 2011, and multiple Cooley offices have played a crucial role in advising the company.
