About Mariam

Mariam represents emerging and high-growth companies through all stages of the corporate life cycle – from formation to funding, mergers and acquisitions, and public offerings. She also advises clients on corporate governance matters and assists venture capital firms with financing transactions.

Before joining Cooley, Mariam worked at Pyrra Technologies, using artificial intelligence (AI)-driven tools to analyze alternative social media ecosystems. She also led a team at a top AI lab on a large-scale project advancing large language model (LLM) capabilities.

While at Columbia Law School, Mariam was a podcast editor for the Science and Technology Law Review and a teaching assistant for the Technology and Venture Capital seminar. She also interned at Twitter, advising on product, data privacy, intellectual property and commercial transactions.
