Janice Chan

Janice drives and manages the Cooley compensation & benefits group’s resource development, process innovation and knowledge management initiatives, leveraging her varied previous experience as public company in-house counsel, large firm associate, and adviser to startups and founders.

Before joining Cooley, Janice advised startups and founders as a solo practitioner, and served as executive compensation and benefits counsel at Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings. She also held associate positions in the compensation and benefits groups at Clifford Chance, Ropes & Gray, and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
