About Cole
Cole focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis on patent disputes. He works across a variety of technologies, including mechanical, medical, electrical and computer devices, as well as pharmaceuticals, software and consumer products. He has represented clients in numerous venues, including US district courts, the US Court of Federal Claims, the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the International Trade Commission, and in arbitration.
Cole’s experience spans all stages of litigation, from the outset of a case to preparing for appeal. He has handled matters involving patent infringement, patent interferences, ensnarement, trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, and claims for patent infringement and trade secret misappropriation under Section 337.
Cole received his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he served as editor in chief of the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law. Before law school, he worked as a consulting engineer.
