Anna Caro
About Anna
Anna advises global businesses on a range of complex and high-impact antitrust, merger control, foreign direct investment (FDI) and consumer law matters. Her clients include global companies in the technology, life sciences and consumer goods sectors. She has deep knowledge of global merger investigations and extensive experience with UK and European Union merger control processes, as well as the coordination of global merger and FDI filings. Anna also counsels clients on internal and external competition and consumer protection investigations and has worked on judicial review proceedings in front of the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal and the Court of Appeal.
Before joining Cooley, Anna spent four years at the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), most recently as an assistant director, and was responsible for managing the delivery of Phase 1 and Phase 2 UK merger reviews.
