About Andrew

Andrew is head of Cooley’s white collar defense and investigations group. A highly acclaimed former federal prosecutor, he’s known for his role as one of the top deputies to Robert S. Mueller III throughout the US Department of Justice’s special counsel investigation into then-President Donald Trump, as well as serving as the chief of the public corruption unit at the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. Andrew defends companies and individuals before government agencies and in high-stakes litigation, leads complex and sensitive internal investigations, and has successfully tried numerous significant white collar and regulatory matters.

Our representation has included not only the criminal investigation, but also Securities and Exchange Commission and Commodity Futures Trading Commission cases in SDNY, bankruptcy actions involving FTX, and multiple civil cases brought against our client and others. The cases all involve the multibillion-dollar collapse of FTX, which was one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges.
