Adam Shaun Bloom
About Adam
Adam advises clients on general business and corporate law matters. His practice focuses on complex transactions and deals involving novel structures, including majority and minority investment transactions, joint ventures, carve outs, spinouts, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and recapitalizations, and other general corporate matters. Adam has represented many public and private technology companies, venture capital firms and private equity firms.
Before joining Cooley, Adam was a partner in the corporate group of a US-based international law firm. Previously, he was an associate in the intellectual property group of another global law firm, where his practice focused on patent, trade secret, copyright and trademark litigation.
Before his legal career, Adam worked for IBM’s globalization and verification testing group in North Carolina, where he tested IBM’s WebSphere product on various operating systems, including Linux, Unix and Windows, in up to nine different languages, none of which were English. Adam also worked for BindView as a web developer, building web pages using ColdFusion.
