Cooley Trademark Chair Recognized as DC Lawyer of the Year
Cooley partner Brendan Hughes, chair of the firm’s global trademark, copyright and advertising (TCA) practice, was recognized by DC Bar Communities as one of 10 Lawyers of the Year. Hughes was cited for his work on TCA-related actions in federal court as well as trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the US Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. His recognition by World Trademark Review as one of the top trademark lawyers in Washington, DC, was also noted.
The awardees will be honored at the DC Bar’s Celebration of Leadership on June 26, 2025.
