Cooley Partners Named Among Top 100 Lawyers in Los Angeles
Cooley partners Nick Hobson and Bobby Ghajar were included on the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Top 100 Lawyers 2025 list, which recognizes and honors the achievements of top lawyers in the Los Angeles business community.
Hobson, who leads Cooley’s Santa Monica office, was noted for his work representing emerging growth companies in venture capital and private equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, debt financings, equity compensation matters, and corporate governance.
Ghajar was recognized for his 25+ years of experience as an intellectual property litigator, with landmark cases that set pivotal precedents in copyright, trademark and right of publicity law. He was also described as a “distinguished trial attorney whose practice sits at the cutting edge of generative artificial intelligence copyright litigation.”
