Crain’s New York Names Cooley a Seven-Time Best Place to Work

December 19, 2019

New York – December 19, 2019 – Crain’s New York Business has recognized Cooley on its 100 Best Places to Work in New York City list as the #6 best large company and the #1 law firm. This is the seventh consecutive year Cooley has made Crain’s elite list.

“It’s incredibly important that while expanding as an office and a firm we still maintain our unique culture and continue to invest heavily in our people,” said Kathy Pakenham, partner-in-charge of Cooley’s New York office. “Being consistently named to Crain’s Best Place to Work list is incredibly heartening as we continue pursuing these goals.”

The Best Places to Work in NYC is a survey and recognition program that identifies the area’s best employers. Conducted by Crain’s in partnership with the Best Companies Group, the annual list is based on the feedback of more than 20,000 employees who answer questions covering topics including working conditions, benefits and corporate culture.

Cooley opened the doors to its new, state-of-the-art space at Hudson Yards in April and, two months later, was recognized as a finalist on Crain’s Coolest Offices in New York feature. This summer, Fortune also named Cooley the #3 Best Place to Work in New York in the large companies category.
