Datadog – $745.2 Million IPO
Boston – October 1, 2019 – Cooley advised Datadog on its $745.2 million initial public offering of 27,600,000 shares of common stock, which includes the full exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase additional shares. Lawyers Nicole Brookshire, Jodie Bourdet and Alison Haggerty led the Cooley team advising Datadog.
Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan and Credit Suisse acted as joint lead book-running managers. Barclays, Jefferies and RBC Capital Markets acted as joint book-running managers. JMP Securities, Raymond James, Stifel, William Blair and Needham & Company acted as co-managers.
Datadog, whose securities now trade on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol “DDOG,” is a cloud-based monitoring and analytics platform for developers, IT operations teams and business users. Its platform integrates and automates infrastructure monitoring, application performance monitoring and log management to provide unified, real-time observability of an entire technology stack.
