Lightspeed China Partners Raises $560 Million

Shanghai – January 16, 2019 – Cooley advised Lightspeed China Partners on the closing of its fourth family of venture capital funds, with total commitments of $560 million, including Lightspeed China Partners IV at $360 million and Lightspeed China Partners Select I at $200 million. Partner Jordan Silber led the Cooley team advising LCP.

The fund family, which is the largest raised by LCP to date, brings LCP’s committed capital under management to $1.5 billion. Both funds will focus on investments in China – LCP IV will make investments in early stage technology companies while LCP Select I will focus on early growth investments.
