Teforia Closes $12 Million Series A

Palo Alto – November 4, 2016 – Cooley advised Teforia on its $12 million Series A funding round. The round was led by Translink Capital and included participation from returning investors and Cooley clients Upfront Ventures and Lemnos Labs, along with new investment from Correlation Ventures and Cooley client Mousse Partners. Teforia’s total funding to date is more than $17 million.

The company also announced it has begun shipping Teforia units to its pre-order customers in anticipation of its nationwide launch later this fall.

Teforia blends the ancient tradition of tea with first-of-its-kind technology into a sensory experience for the modern world. The company's flagship product, Teforia, is the first machine-learning tea infusion device.
