Uber to Buy Self-Driving Truck Startup Otto

San Francisco – September 7, 2016 – Cooley is pleased to have partnered with Uber on its acquisition of Otto, a 90-plus person startup whose mission is to rethink transportation, starting with self-driving trucks. Financial terms have not been disclosed.

The Cooley team advising Uber on the acquisition included Jamie Leigh, Ben Beerle, Brittany Jones, Alex Haskell, Charley Haley, Susan Cooper Philpot, Laura McDaniels, Wendy Brenner and Howard Morse. Dave Peinsipp also provided general corporate advice.
