"Other firms ranking high on the list include Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, DLA Piper, Baker Botts, Perkins Coie, Paul Hastings, Cooley and Winston & Strawn. Regardless of the rankings, the numbers demonstrate that despite efforts to curb patent litigation, it is still pervasive. An estimated 5,828 new patent lawsuits were filed in 2015, according to Lex Machina's 2015 Patent Litigation Year in Review. That was 15 percent more than were filed in 2014 and second only to the record number of cases filed in 2013."
