Washingtonian Names Antonio Calabrese, John Lavoie, Mark Looney and Randy Sabett Top Lawyers

Washington, DC – December 14, 2015 –Washingtonian Magazine recognized chair of Cooley's real estate practice Antonio Calabrese and real estate partners John Lavoie and Mark Looney, as well as  vice chair of the firm's privacy and data protection practice Randy V. Sabett as among the Top Lawyers in the DC-Metro area.

He has substantial experience in the representation of landlords, tenants, lenders and borrowers in the leasing, finance, and repositioning of commercial property in the Washington, DC-Metro area and the Mid-Atlantic region. 

Looney's practice includes representing major developers and national, regional and local companies in all areas of land use, including, office, retail, industrial, mixed-use, residential, healthcare, hotel and large planned community projects. He counsels clients concerning all aspects of the land planning, zoning and development process, including obtaining necessary zoning and permitting approvals from public bodies and agencies, as well as presenting proposed zoning changes to affected community groups and the local media. 

Sabett counsels clients on a wide range of cutting-edge cybersecurity, privacy, IT licensing and intellectual property issues, including compliance with relevant international, federal and state laws and regulations, government and industry standards (such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and the PCI Data Security Standard), authentication, active defense, and data breach incident response.
