Cooley Makes Major Move on Vault's "100 Most Prestigious Law Firms" List

June 24, 2014

Palo Alto – June 24, 2014 – Cooley LLP announced today that it climbed ten spots   more than any other law firm  to debut in the top 50 on Vault's 2015 List of "100 Most Prestigious Law Firms."

The list is derived from a survey completed by some 17,000 associates who rate law firms, except for their own firms, on a scale of 1 to 10 based on prestige.

Vault attributes Cooley's significant jump in part to the numerous multi-billion dollar IPOs handled in the past few years, but it also calls attention to the firm's other notable strengths. The publication highlights Cooley's wide range of accomplishments, noting "capital markets is not the firm's only forte; its reputation in the technology industry has also helped to boost other practice areas such as litigation and intellectual property. Cooley was described in our survey results as ‘entrepreneurial,' a ‘leader in its area' and ‘tech-savvy.'"
