Cooley Advises Underwriters on Receptos, Inc. Initial Public Offering

San Diego, Calif. – May 20, 2013 – Cooley LLP announced today that it advised the underwriters on Receptos, Inc.'s recent IPO. Receptos, now trading on the NASDAQ Global Stock Market under the symbol "RCPT," is a California-based biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing and commercializing innovative therapeutics for immune disorders.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Leerink Swann LLC and BMO Capital Markets acted as joint book-running managers for the offering. Wedbush PacGrow Life Sciences acted as a co-manager.
