Cooley Advises Underwriters on LinkedIn's $1.25 Billion Follow-On Offering
Palo Alto, Calif. – September 10, 2013 – Cooley LLP announced today that it is advised the underwriters on LinkedIn Corp.'s follow-on offering of 5.55 million shares of Class A common stock worth approximately $1.25 billion.
The lead bookrunning managers of the proposed offering are J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC. Goldman, Sachs & Co. and BofA Merrill Lynch are joint bookrunning managers. Allen & Company LLC is co-manager.
According to LinkedIn, the objectives of the offering are to increase LinkedIn's financial flexibility and to further strengthen its balance sheet.
The Cooley corporate securities team that advised the underwriters was led by partners Eric Jensen and David Peinsipp and included associates Jonie Kondracki, Justin Lau and Nicole Hatcher.
