Event summary
Capital Call connects investors to high-potential companies. This eagerly anticipated program consistently attracts hundreds of sought-after venture capital firms and accredited angel investors. Since our first event in 2002, almost 450 companies have presented at Capital Call.
The event kicked off with a fireside chat between Cooley partner Laurie Bauer and Founder and CEO of Nobell Foods Magi Richani. Magi was profiled by Forbes as one of eight female entrepreneurs who are tackling the climate crisis, and Nobell Foods made the 2022 Fast Company World Changing Ideas list. Following the fireside chat, Seed+ and Series A-stage agtech and foodtech companies presented five-minute, rapid-fire pitches. Investors had an opportunity for Q&A and demos with the presenters in breakout rooms following the pitches.
