Zidong Liu

Zidong focuses on US and Hong Kong capital markets transactions, securities law compliance, corporate governance, public and private M&A, and other corporate matters. He represents clients in public and private securities offerings, including initial public offerings, follow-on offerings and de-SPAC transactions. He regularly counsels public companies regarding Exchange Act reporting and disclosure, proxy solicitation, stock exchange rules, Section 16 reporting, and corporate governance. Zidong has worked with clients in a variety of industries, including technology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, energy, retail, consumer goods and manufacturing.

Before joining Cooley, Zidong worked in the New York offices of two other international law firms.

Zidong is fluent in English and is a native Mandarin speaker.
