About Zaneta

Zaneta represents private and public companies in a wide variety of complex commercial disputes, including in securities, cyber/data/privacy, and other consumer class actions. Her practice also includes representing domestic and international clients in various internal and government investigations, as well as advising clients on regulatory issues.

Prior to joining Cooley, Zaneta worked at an international law firm representing clients in the technology, entertainment, electronics, logistics and automotive sectors.

Zaneta’s representative matters include:

  • Securing dismissal of a securities fraud class action complaint in the US District Court for the Northern District of California
  • Securing dismissal of class action privacy claims alleging a novel theory of Florida’s wiretap law
  • Winning an arbitration award for a client in a breach of contract dispute
  • Representing a publicly traded company in a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) investigation into accounting improprieties
  • Assisting clients in responding to subpoenas and civil investigative demands from the SEC and the Federal Trade Commission
  • Advising various publicly traded companies on how to respond to Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) inquires
  • Representing a non-US company facing criminal cartel, civil bid-rigging and government contracts fraud allegations
