Xinyi Yin

Xinyi focuses on venture capital, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. She advises domestic and international clients on cross-border transactions, private financing, corporate governance, and regulatory and compliance matters. She has experience representing clients across industries, including life sciences, technology and AI.

Before joining Cooley, Xinyi gained experience in capital markets transactions at another top US law firm, where she assisted with Hong Kong initial public offerings and compliance matters.

Xinyi received an Outstanding Graduate award from the University of International Relations. She is a native Mandarin speaker, is fluent in English and French and served as a French-language interpreter at the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022.
