About Will

Will’s practice is centered in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. He has substantial experience with new chemical entities, including small molecules and antibody-drug conjugates, as well as pharmaceutical formulations, polymorphs, Orange Book listing eligibility and synthetic methods.

Will prepares and prosecutes patent applications and supports his attorney colleagues with invalidity and freedom-to-operate analyses. He has assisted clients ranging from startups to some of the world’s largest companies.

Originally trained as a synthetic organic chemist, in 2005, Will exchanged a research position at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for an advisor role at a boutique intellectual property law firm. There, he worked in the abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) litigation group, helping attorneys develop and prepare Paragraph IV certification letters.

In 2014, Will joined an Atlanta-area boutique law firm, shifting his focus to patent prosecution and counseling. His experience evaluating the validity of hundreds of pharmaceutical patents allows him to craft robust, durable patent protection for his clients today.
