
About Wes
Wes’ practice focuses on the formation and operation of private investment funds – including venture capital funds, private equity funds and funds of funds – both in the US and internationally.
He has experience working as associate counsel at a registered investment advisor with $7 billion in assets under management. Before his legal career, Wes was an early employee at several successful venture-backed startups in San Francisco. He has a range of experience working within the venture ecosystem, providing a unique perspective that allows him to best represent his clients.
During law school, Wes served as a law fellow at the Impact Finance Research Consortium, a collaboration among the Wharton School, Harvard Business School, and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business to advance academic research on impact investing. Additionally, he earned the Wharton Certificate in Management and participated in the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s honors program.
