About Thilini

Thilini represents clients in complex business and commercial litigation matters. Her experience includes defending clients in antitrust and securities litigations brought by both governments and private parties, counseling clients in government investigations, and defending class actions in a variety of practice areas. Thilini’s pro bono practice has included multiple immigration asylum cases, anti-human trafficking work and domestic violence restraining order cases.

Before joining Cooley, Thilini completed clerkships for Judge Edward J. Davila and Judge Beth Labson Freeman at the US District Court for the Northern District of California; she also spent a law school semester serving as a full-time judicial extern for Judge Marsha S. Berzon at the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Thilini was previously an associate at another international law firm.
