Struan’s practice focuses on advising banks, funds, investment managers, fintechs and payment service providers on UK financial services regulation.
Struan advises on a range of matters, including the UK regulatory perimeter, Financial Conduct Authority change in control requirements, Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) and Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS) regulation, financial crime, payment services regulation, and crypto-assets. Struan has also experience in advising organisations including leading investment banks, corporates and funds on margin loan and derivatives.
Struan previously worked at a UK-regulated asset manager.
