Stephanie focuses her practice on complex commercial disputes, copyright and trademark litigations, and class action proceedings. She has helped clients in the technology, artificial intelligence (AI), education, life sciences and telecommunications industries protect their brand assets and obtain favorable outcomes in disputes in federal and state courts. Stephanie also has extensive experience defending major law firms in cases involving allegations of legal malpractice. • Obtaining complete dismissal on summary judgment of all trademark claims brought against a major technology company in the US District Court for the Northern District of California
• Successfully defending a top education technology company in complex copyright litigation in the US District Court for the District of New Jersey

• Obtaining favorable settlement on behalf of a prominent nonprofit organization in a consumer class action alleging violations of a federal data privacy statute

• Representing plaintiff investors in the Delaware Court of Chancery in a dispute against pharmaceutical companies for failure to make required milestone payments under a merger agreement, resulting in a favorable judgment on the pleadings

• Defending an individual charged with bribery and fraud in connection with an alleged NCAA basketball corruption scheme
• Obtaining a noncarceral sentence on behalf of an individual charged with failing to report a foreign financial account, in conjunction with an international bribery investigation
• Obtaining relief under the United Nations Convention Against Torture on behalf of a young man who fled El Salvador as a minor after multiple violent gang attacks on him and his family, achieving his release from immigration detention during the COVID-19 pandemic through successful petition for writ of habeas corpus
• Obtaining relief on behalf of tenants for landlords’ failure to comply with New York City Housing Maintenance Code during the COVID-19 pandemic
