Sona Balachandran

Sona works at the forefront of Cooley’s efforts to advance and leverage a variety of technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), to enhance the quality, efficiency and delivery of legal services across the firm. She draws on her background as an in-house attorney to bring a practical understanding of how technology can transform the legal experience for clients and attorneys.

Before joining Cooley, Sona was a key member of the knowledge and innovation team at a US-based international law firm. She also has extensive experience handling a range of corporate and commercial matters in house at a leading digital media and internet company and at a digital advertising and analytics platform.
