Shukra advises companies and their boards of directors on corporate governance, public reporting and securities matters, including compliance with Exchange Act disclosure requirements, proxy rules, insider trading rules, stock exchange governance rules and securities regulation.

Shukra also has experience representing US and non-US issuers and financial institutions in a range of capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings and other equity offerings, investment-grade, high-yield and convertible debt offerings, and private placements.

Before joining Cooley, Shukra worked as an associate in the capital markets group at another global law firm in New York.
